Rubber Bobbins
Rubber bobbins, also known as buffers, are a popular and cost-effective anti-vibration mount, used for protecting a wide range of equipment from shock and vibrations. They have a wide range of uses, from construction and automotive applications to electrical equipment.

Compactor Mounts
Compactor mounts are specifically engineered for the high-impact demands of the compaction industry. Our range includes durable solutions for plate compactors, road rollers, and drum mounts, supplied to major international OEMs. These heavy-duty isolation mounts are designed to protect vital components from intense vibration, preventing wear and minimizing downtime.

Rubber Mounts
GJBUSH can offer a range of rubber mounts suitable for various applications where a captive solution is required. Their simple design allows for easy installation, and restricts movement in both vertical directions thereby offering a good level of shock protection. Standard rubber mountings are manufactured in chloroprene rubber, which provides good resistance to oils and greases. Other rubber compounds can be offered to suit different environmental conditions.

Rubber Dampers
Rubber dampers or shock absorbers are used to reduce the transmission of shock to the surrounding structure. Shock absorption is possible as the rubber absorber deflects under the applied shock load. The construction of rubber dampers (also known as rectangular buffers) is such that rubber is bonded to a metal plate which incorporates a number of fixing holes allowing for simple installation.

Rubber Bushes
Rubber bushes feature inner and outer metal sleeves bonded by a central rubber section. When pressed into a housing, they provide excellent compliance in radial, axial, and torsional directions. A wide range of custom designs with varied materials and profiles are available.

Rubber Bearings
GJBUSH manufactures a range of rubber bearings, such as spherical bearings, which function as flexible mechanical joints. Key applications include road and rail vehicle suspensions, pivot arms, and engine mountings. We offer various standard designs as well as bespoke solutions for unique requirements.

Sandwich Mounts
Sandwich mounts consist of rubber bonded between two metal plates, which can incorporate mounting holes or stud fastenings. Also known as rectangular mounts, they are available in a wide range of sizes, often featuring one or more metal interleaves to achieve specific stiffness characteristics.

Side Bearer Mounts
GJBUSH have a range of Side Bearer Mountings in a variety of sizes. These are generally used as secondary springs for bogies. They provide a high load capacity and large deflections horizontally and vertically.
Our Core Technology: Isolation System Design Based on 'Natural Frequency'
The scientific basis of vibration control lies in the precise management of a system’s Natural Frequency. Our core technology involves using systematic analysis and design to create an isolation system for you with a natural frequency far below the external excitation frequency, thereby achieving the most efficient vibration isolation. This system consists of two main parts:

Seismic Isolation Bearing Solutions for Buildings
We specialize in the research, development, and production of various high-performance rubber seismic isolation bearings for buildings and infrastructure. Our product series can be tailored to provide optimal, fully validated structural vibration control solutions based on different seismic intensity zones, structure types, and performance requirements.

Natural Rubber Isolation Bearing (LNR)
Structural Features: Made of alternating layers of rubber and steel plates. The rubber layers provide elastic support, while the steel plates enhance vertical stiffness and structural stability. The outer rubber layer is resistant to aging and corrosion, making it suitable for coastal or cold regions (applicable temperature range: -40°C to +60°C).
Working Principle:During an earthquake, the bearing’s horizontal deformation lengthens the structure's natural vibration period, moving it away from the resonant frequency of seismic waves and thus reducing energy transmission.
Application Scenarios:Due to its moderate energy dissipation, it is typically used with additional dampers in low-intensity seismic zones, or for structures where high self-centering is not a critical requirement.

Lead Rubber Bearing (LRB)
Structural Features:A lead core is embedded in the center of a natural rubber bearing, combining the elastic properties of rubber with the plastic deformation characteristics of lead to dissipate seismic energy.
Working Principle:During an earthquake, the central lead core undergoes plastic deformation, converting seismic energy into heat and significantly increasing the system's damping ratio (up to 30%). The lead core's ability to recrystallize at room temperature ensures the bearing is fully reusable after an event.
Application Scenarios:Ideal for high-intensity seismic zones and structures requiring high self-centering capabilities, as the lead core's properties prevent strain hardening.

High Damping Rubber Bearing (HDR)
Structural Features:High-damping elements, such as carbon, are added to the rubber material to significantly increase its damping properties (damping ratio > 18%). The rubber layers are laminated with steel plates to provide both vertical load-bearing capacity and horizontal flexibility.
Working Principle:The high-damping rubber absorbs and dissipates seismic energy through elastic deformation. This lengthens the structure's natural vibration period to avoid the main frequencies of seismic waves, significantly reducing the seismic response.
Application Scenarios:Suitable for high-rise buildings, long-span bridges, and other structures requiring control of both wind and seismic responses. Especially well-suited for multi-directional seismic events.
