How is the auto parts industry going in the first half of year 2021?

In the first half of year 2021, the domestic raw materials cost keep rising up, the auto parts and components cost also increase accordingly, but the performance of the auto parts company is quite good. With the gradual improvement of the domestic and international epidemic situation, the auto parts industry has recovered significantly.

Based on the high growth caused by the low base under the influence of the epidemic last year, the import and export value of auto parts from January to April 2021 increased by 41.8% and 41.9% year-on-year respectively.

In April 2021, the import value of auto parts was US$3.24 billion, a decrease of 1.2% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 41.8%; the export value of auto parts was US$6.0 billion, a month-on-month increase of 0.8% and a year-on-year increase of 50.7%.

 

From January to April 2021, the import value of auto parts was US$13.23 billion, a year-on-year increase of 41.8%; the export value of auto parts was US$23.80 billion, a year-on-year increase of 41.9%.
